We request and coordinate berths, pilots, tugs, and line handlers, and confirm current status before arrival. Assignment and availability rest with the harbor and service providers, so we coordinate and advise rather than guarantee.
Will I get a disbursement account I can reconcile?
Yes. HYANS tracks port-call costs and provides a disbursement account with supporting documentation held in the client portal for authorized users. Where you need a pro-forma DA in advance, tell us and we will prepare one.
Which Hawaiʻi harbor should a commercial vessel use?
It depends on the vessel, cargo, and draft. Honolulu Harbor is the primary commercial port; Kawaihae, Hilo, Kahului, and Nāwiliwili handle commercial and fuel-related calls. We advise based on your requirements — confirm current status before arrival.
Does HYANS handle Port State Control?
We provide agency support and coordination around Port State Control activity, including readiness and access. Inspections and their outcomes are determined by the authorities, not the agent.
