Team & roles

The functions that run a Hawaiʻi call.

A well-run port call depends on a few clear roles working together. Below is how responsibility is organized at HYANS, described by function so you know who does what on your call and where accountability sits.

How we're organized

Clear roles, one accountable point of contact.

Whatever the size of the call, one agency stays accountable for it end to end, supported by dedicated operations, vendor and port liaison, and client-support functions. The sections below describe what each function is responsible for — not individual people — so you understand how the work is structured before you engage.

What each role delivers

A note on this page

Named people, added deliberately.

We describe roles by function rather than list names here. Real bios and photos will be added by the owner once confirmed, so nothing on this page overstates who is involved or what they hold. In the meantime, every engagement still has one accountable agency — reach us through the contact page or by requesting maritime support.

Questions

Frequently asked

Who is my point of contact during a call?
One accountable agency owns your call from first inquiry through the departure dossier, supported by operations, vendor and port liaison, and client-support functions. You always know who is responsible.
Why don't you list individual names and bios?
This page describes roles by function. Named bios and photos will be added by the owner once confirmed, so we never overstate who is involved. The role structure, and the accountability behind it, is the same regardless.
Can I work with a manager or family office instead of the captain?
Yes. The principal agent works directly with captains or alongside managers and family offices, matching the reporting cadence and approvals you prefer.

Want to know who runs your call?

Contact HYANS with the vessel and the port. We will confirm scope and introduce the accountable agency and the functions supporting your call.

All services are subject to availability, vessel requirements, vendor confirmation, port conditions, weather, and applicable regulations. HYANS does not guarantee berth, port access, fuel, vendor availability, pricing, scheduling, or regulatory approvals. The client portal is access-controlled and available to authorized clients only.
