A Hawaiʻi maritime agency built on coordination and documentation.
HYANS — Hawaiʻi Yacht Agent Nautical Services — supports yachts, ships, and working vessels calling the Hawaiian Islands. One accountable agency coordinates clearance, berthing, fuel, vendors, and crew, and keeps the paperwork straight from first inquiry through departure.
One agency for the whole Hawaiʻi call.
HYANS is a maritime agency serving the Hawaiian Islands — Oʻahu, Maui, Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, and the harbors and channels between them. We support private and charter yachts, commercial ships, research and government vessels, and tugs, barges, and workboats. Each engagement is scoped to the vessel, the port, and the reason for the call, with a single point of contact throughout.
Our role is to coordinate and support, not to decide. Authorities — CBP, USDA/APHIS, the Coast Guard, Port State Control, and harbor masters — make the decisions on clearance, access, and approvals. HYANS prepares the documentation, arranges the logistics, liaises with the right parties, and keeps you informed so the call runs in order. Where an outcome depends on authorities, weather, or vendor availability, we say so plainly.
The principles behind every call
- →Coordination over promises — we arrange, confirm, and track; authorities decide
- →Documentation discipline — clean records, clear reporting, a reconcilable account
- →Local knowledge — real familiarity with Hawaiʻi harbors, channels, and vendors
- →Discretion — itinerary, owner, and guest details handled on a need-to-know basis
- →Accountability — one agency owns the call from inquiry through departure dossier
- →Honesty about limits — we tell you what depends on third parties and conditions
A clear operating model.
Every engagement follows the same disciplined path: we scope the vessel and the call, propose an agency plan, gather documentation, coordinate the arrival and the in-port work, support departure clearance, and close out with a disbursement account you can reconcile. Our nine-step process makes each stage and hand-off visible.
Documents, messaging, and the disbursement account live in the client portal, our access-controlled client workspace, available to authorized clients only. It keeps the record of a call in one place, with the confidentiality that owners, managers, and operators expect.
