What MERIDIAN covers
The record of one port call: the vessel, the people, and the call-file forms, previewed and issued into a document register. Filing workbooks are generate-only; MERIDIAN does not transmit filings.
A vessel-intake wizard, and an intake inbox where a person matches an inbound message to a call and applies or rejects the proposed changes. Service requests on the call are quoted, decided, and tracked.
Pro-forma and final disbursement accounts computed from the call's records, with FDA revisions decided by a person. Saved commercial terms become a draft customer invoice; issuing it is a separate step. MERIDIAN does not move money.
Each service request closes with a closeout note, and each call has a finance closeout checklist that shows when it is ready to close.
Per-vessel comfort from the vessel's particulars and the wind, wave, and swell forecast, stated as GO, CAUTION, or NO-GO windows. Planning-grade, NOT for navigation: official charts, notices, and the captain's judgment remain the navigation standard. HYANS coordinates the shore side.
